The Young Litigators Committee (YLC) of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice (NBA SLP) has announced the second edition of its Young Lawyers Debate.
The Young Lawyers Debate is designed as an oral contest of ideas, in which participants evaluate and defend their positions on legal issues of importance. The first edition held in 2021, with the grand finale taking place at the annual conference of the NBA SLP in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Young Lawyers (0-7 Years PQE) from all over the country are invited to participate in the 2nd Edition of the Young Lawyers Debate and stand a chance to win the star prize of N500,000.00. The First Runner Up would win N350,000.00 while the Second Runner Up would win N250,000.00 amongst other prizes.
To participate in this competition, kindly send an essay of 700-900 words on “THE ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF A 21ST CENTURY LAWYER ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT (RPC): A NECESSARY DUTY OR UTOPIAN BOTTLENECK” to nbaslpylc@gmail.com on or before the 12th June 2022.
