Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, AbdulRasheed Bawa, has appealed the contempt of court verdict handed to him by an Abuja High Court.
Bawa disclosed this while speaking with newsmen at the House of Representatives.
The Court gave the judgment following the EFCC refusal to return 40 million naira and a car to a former Director of Operations at the Nigerian Air Force, Rufus Ojuawo.
Recall that Justice Chizoba Orji had ordered Bawa to be committed to Kuje Correctional Centre for his disobedience to the court order that was given on November 21, 2018, until he purges himself of the contempt.
