Katsina Branch has Lost Another Great Lawyer- Olumide Akpata

Senior Partner at Templars and immediate past Chairman of the NBA Section on Business Law has expressed sympathy over the death of a senior member of the NBA, Katsina Branch, Abdulrasheed Tinau Wada.

In a statement issued last night, Mr Akpata, while extending his condolences, recounted the achievements of the late Mr A. T Wada. He said “My deepest sympathies are with the NBA Katsina branch over the death of Mr A. T Wada, a vibrant and committed member of the branch. Until his death, Mr Wada had not only distinguished himself as a lawyer, but had also risen through the ranks in the Katsina State Ministry of Justice, retiring as a Director some years back, before he went on to private practice afterwards. He had also served the Katsina branch of the NBA faithfully and was one of its reliable elders. Indeed Katsina branch has lost another great lawyer.”

Mr Akpata prayed for comfort for the loved ones of the deceased and prayed for his soul to find rest “Even though death is a certain end, its certainty does not obviate the pain and sorrow it brings on the people who care about the deceased. For this reason, I pray that God Almighty will comfort the family and loved ones of the deceased and the entire Members of NBA Katsina Branch and give us all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
