The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared Prince Dapo Abiodun of the APC as the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Ogun State.

Abiodun, the incumbent governor, won his re-election by polling 276,298 votes against Ladi Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 262,383 votes to come second.

Biyi Otegbeye of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came third with 94,754 votes, despite being backed by former governor of Ogun, Ibikunle Amosun.
