TRIBUNAL ADMITS TINUBU’S CHICAGO UNIVERSITY, NYSC CERTIFICATES WITH DIFFERENT NAMES
The Presidential Election Petitions Court has accepted certified copies of President Bola Tinubu’s academic and work records, which were submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The documents, including a certificate from Chicago State University, an NYSC Discharge Certificate, and a Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc certificate of service, were presented on Friday.
The PDP’s witness, Mike Enahoro Ebah, Esq, stated that the documents were allegedly obtained by Tinubu but carried the name ‘Bola Adekunle Tinubu’.
The witness, led by PDP counsel Chris Uche, SAN, also submitted EC13 and EC9 nomination forms and letters written to INEC as attachments.
INEC’s lawyer, Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN), as well as the lawyers for Tinubu, Emmanuel Ukala (SAN), and the All Progressive Congress (APC), Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), all raised objections to the document’s admissibility.
