Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, on Friday faced arraignment at the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, on 20 counts related to alleged corrupt practices and forgery.

Initially, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had charged Emefiele with six counts related to N1.2bn procurement allegations.
