NBA Elections 2020: NBA Oleh Branch Adopts Olumide Akpata as Presidential Candidate, Says He is a Consummate Bar Man
The Nigerian Bar Association, Oleh Branch at her meeting held on Sunday the 7th of June 2020 unanimously adopted Mr Olumide Akpata, Senior Partner at Templars and immediate past Chairman of the NBA Section on Business Law as its Presidential candidate for the Nigerian Bar Association elections 2020.
The branch whose area of coverage spans across four local Government Areas of Delta State, namely; ISoko south, Isoko North, Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East had its meeting presided over by the chairman Mr Sunny Adolor Esq.
The motion to adopt Mr Olumide Akpata was moved by one of the leaders and elder of the Branch, Elder Joseph Ubogu Esq, a pioneer Registrar of the Delta State University. The motion for the adoption of Mr Olumide Akpata was seconded by erstwhile chairman of the Branch, Daniel Emebuno, Esq. Those who spoke in support of the unanimous resolution described Mr. Olumide Akpata as a consummate Bar man, unassuming and quintessential gentleman who has the capability and incontrovertible competence to take the Nigerian Bar Association to the next level.
