Court of Appeal Releases New Posting of Justices
The Court of Appeal has announced new postings for Honourable Justices of the court Effective from September 30, 2024.
In a release signed by the President of the Court, Hon. Dongban Mensem noted that Hon. Justices of the Ilorin Division shall sit for one week each month at the Ibadan Division. Hon. Justices of Ekiti Division shall also sit for one week each month in Akure Division while Hon. Justices of Gombe Division shall sit for one week each month in Maiduguri.
The modalities for these sittings will be worked out by the Honourable Presiding Justices (PJs) of the respective divisions. It’s important to note that this posting supersedes the Special Panels earlier constituted [1).
All Justices are expected to report to their divisions by September 30, 2024. This new posting is aimed at ensuring the efficient administration of justice in the country.
