The acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has been suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Magu’s suspension comes a day after he was grilled by an inter-agency presidential panel on allegations of corruption.
Suspensions are usually imposed on chief executives under probe to avoid intereference with investigations.
The Presidency has yet to issue a formal statement on the issue.
