Lawyard Releases Special Edition of Lawyard Journal on Privacy and Data Protection in Honour of Adavize Alao
Lawyard announces the launch of a special Privacy and Data Protection edition of the Lawyard Journal in memory of Lawyard’s Co-Founder, Adavize Alao.
Adavize until his demise was keenly devoted to promoting public discourse and research into the dynamics of privacy and data protection.
The journal contains articles from various contributors in the field of privacy and data protection along with the winning essays from the inaugural edition of the Adavize Alao Essay Competition on Privacy and Data Protection.
While underscoring the importance of the field, Gbolahan Badmus the editor of the Journal, stated that the Journal will continue to deepen the discourse on privacy and chart a pathway towards an effective privacy and data protection system in Nigeria and the world at large.
Lawyard Co-founder, Tobi Adebowale emphasized the necessity of promoting data safety in the era of rapid connectivity and as technology continues to revolutionize exchange of information.
The Lawyard team is convinced that the special edition of the journal in Adavize’s honour is an enlightening body of work, which holds the promise of bridging the knowledge gap in relation to Privacy and Data Protection in Nigeria while doing so in a most relatable manner. It is recommended to lawyers, non-lawyers, law students and the general public.
