Buhari, Ize-Iyamu Meet in Abuja
President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, at the State House in Abuja.
Pastor Ize-Iyamu was accompanied by the Chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee and governor of Yobe State, Mala Mia Buni.
Governor Atiku Bagudu and Abdullahi Ganduje of Kebbi and Kano State respectively are also in attendance in the meeting.
Ize-Iyamu is a top contender for the Edo election, challenging the incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki, who is seeking reelection in the September poll.
