Chief Richard Akinjide, the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, is dead.

Chief Richard Akinjide passed on at the age of 88 in his Ibadan residence, the Oyo State capital.

Akinjide had been sick for three years and died of complications of a protracted illness at around 1am on Tuesday.
