Enugu Governorship Election: NYSC tenders affidavit of fact before Tribunal On Governor Peter Mbah’s alleged fake discharged certificate
The Labour Party candidate in the last Enugu gubernotorial Barr. Chjioke Edeoga today came close to retrieving his mandate he claims was stolen by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party Peter Mbah.
In a turn of events today, the NYSC tendered an affidavit of fact before Enugu State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to prove that Peter Mbah’s discharged certificate was forged and not from the organization.
The National Youth Service Corps was set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime to involve Nigerian graduates in nation-building and the development of the country in the Year 1973
In the cause of their yearly duty, every graduate is mandated to attend or get a letter of exception if you are over the age of 30.
Peter Mbah submitted his resume to INEC which includes his now-disputed NYSC certificate which the organization has openly come out to debunk.
But if following past antecedents is anything to go by, then it is almost safe to say that the days of Peter Mbah as Governor of Enugu is numbered, as all is left to be seen what the tribunal will do with this
