Famsville Launches Essay Competition for Nigerian Law School Scholarship
Fast-rising commercial law firm, Famsville Solicitors on Monday called for entries for the maiden edition of its Essay Competition on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as a pre-requisite to qualify for the 2023 Famsville Scholar Award.
The Famsville Scholar Award is an annual scholarship awarded by Famsville to prospective students of the Nigerian Law School in demonstration of the firm’s support for legal talent. It is also one of the ways Famsville contributes to the legal ecosystem by giving back to the society.
In a statement announcing the launch of the essay competition which focuses on ESG, Famsville stressed its commitment to operating by the principles of sustainability and promoting public discourse on ESG in Nigeria.
“As dedicated proponents of sustainability, we have embarked on a journey to not only abide by these principles ourselves but to also ignite a spark of consciousness within our local community. Our future-proof thinking includes providing a platform for healthy discourse for practitioners of tomorrow, today.

Nigerian law graduates intending to resume at the Nigerian Law School in November 2023 are enjoined to register to participate in the competition and submit their entries by the deadline, 15 September 2023. Further details are available on the Famsville page on LinkedIn.
