Former CJN Ariwoola Named new Chairman Body Of Benchers, Olorogun Akpomudje Named Vice Chairman
The immediate past Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honorable Justice Oluwakayode Ariwoola, and seasoned legal practitioner, Olorogun Albert Akpomudje, SAN, have been appointed as the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Body of Benchers respectively.
Their appointment marks a new phase for the prestigious legal body, as they take over leadership from Asiwaju A.S. Awomolo, SAN, who recently completed his tenure as the 52nd Chairman of the Body of Benchers.
Both Justice Ariwoola and Chief Akpomudje, SAN, are Life Benchers with extensive experience in the legal profession. Their leadership is expected to play a vital role in strengthening the rule of law, professional ethics, and judicial integrity in Nigeria.
Their leadership of the Body of Benchers is expected to reinforce discipline, uphold ethical standards, and ensure that the legal profession in Nigeria maintains the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
