Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, has signed into law the state multi door court bill.
The function was performed at the state exco chamber, governor’s office Alagbaka Akure, Ondo state. Governor Akeredolu said the law would provide alternatives dispute resolution, settlement out of court and rekindle the hope of the people in judiciary.
He commended the legislators and the judiciary for the synergy saying the development would speed up judicial matters and ease the burden on judges.
Earlier, the Speaker Ondo state of assembly, Mr Bamidele Oloyelogun represented by deputy speaker Samuel Aderoboye said the law would ease procedures of court cases.
On his part, the chief judge of Ondo state Justice Williams Akintoroye described it as historic, stressing that it would reaffirm the confidence of the people in the judicial system.
