Law reports publishing platform, Lawbreed recently announced an update to the 2019 editions of its Supreme Court reports. Lawbreed also announced the publication of two indexes.
A statement signed by Lawbreed’s management and addressed to its subscribers, read:
“Dear esteemed subscriber,
“We are happy to inform you, that we have completed the publication of the 2019 Editions, with Two Indexes. In all, we published Fifty Nine (59) Editions, which we have delivered to our Executive Subscribers, and Twenty Five (25) Editions, to our Basic Subscribers. Both classes of subscribers got one volume of Index, Free.
“The value of the Editions and free Index to our Executive subscribers stood at N136,000.00 excluding cost of delivery, while that of Basic Subscribers stood at N68,000; also excluding cost of delivery. On the average, it cost at least N1,000.00 to effect delivery of an Edition or delivery trip. This constitutes an enormous financial stress in the area of Logistics and we continue to explore the most mutually beneficial way, to handle this problem.
“As a result of the cost of production and associated costs, we have had to announce a price review, which will take effect from 31st March, 2022. Subscription to 2022 Editions within that window, will still be at the old rate. We implore those who wish to take advantage to please do so without delay.
“We regret to state, that we will not be able to grant any further extension. We also enjoin you, to order your Second Volume of Index for Completeness.
“As always, we thank you for your custom and look forward to an even more rewarding relationship.”
