The ordeal of Ibrahim Magu, Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, got worse on Monday evening when he was detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department Headquarters in Area 10, Garki, Abuja after he was grilled for about six hours by a presidential panel headed by Justice Isa Salami, former president of the Court of Appeal.
After the completion of interrogation by the Presidential interagency committee over corruption allegations against him, Justice Salami who was said not to be satisfied at Magu’s defence, ordered that Magu be kept in detention until Tuesday (today) to face further interrogation.
