NBA Abuja Loses Chairman Hauwa Shekarau
The Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja branch, Dr. Hauwa Shekarau, is dead.
The information concerning her death was released in a statement titled, ‘Notice of the demise of our chairman, Dr. Hauwa E. Shekarau,’ issued by the Secretary to the NBA Abuja branch, Prince Adetosoye, on Wednesday.
“It is with a sad heart and the highest sense of loss that I announce the death of our chairman, who passed away this morning, 15 September, 2021 after a brief illness.
“I will give further details as to the arrangements and burial plans later,” he stated.
