The Nigerian Bar Association Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) is pleased to announce its second edition of the NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education(NBA-ICLE) training, on Intellectual Property.
The training is a practical workshop that will show the role of lawyers in the development of IP, media and technology, which will commence with a 3-day training series on intellectual property which will run from 18th April to 20th April 2023 from 2PM – 4PM Each Day. The training faculty will feature subject matter experts including Prof Bankoke Sodipe, SAN; Femi Agba; Chinasa Uwana; Simisola Oyelude; Obianuju Otudor and Nta Ekpiken.
The second edition will cover topics such as Intellectual Property: The basis- Definition, Types, Legal framework; Towards a stronger Intellectual Property System in Nigeria- IP Policy, emerging legislation; Emerging areas of IP- Artificial Intelligence, Cryptocurrency, Technology; Intellectual Property Due Diligence; The role of an IP lawyer in the 21st Century and other interesting topics.
This training series is part of the different learning, knowledge sharing and capacity building sessions that the NBA-ICLE has organized for Nigerian lawyers
