Olumide Akpata Felicitates the Muslim Community on the Ramadan
Senior Partner at Templars and immediate former Chairman of the NBA Section of Business Law, Olumide Akpata, has joined the Muslim Community to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued this morning, he said “This holy month of Ramadan is a period in which, our Muslim colleagues and the wider Islamic Ummah, forego the usual bodily pleasures and turn in earnest supplication, to Almighty Allah for His forgiveness and blessings. I heartily facilitate them on this occasion of the commencement of Ramadan.
This is a Ramadan like no other in living memory as it is coming at a time of worldwide difficulty, occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic. There is, perhaps, no better time to seek the continued intervention of Almighty Allah to ease the distress of this pandemic. I join my Muslim friends and colleagues in their prayers and other recommended acts of charity in beseeching Almighty Allah for His protection.
I also enjoin them to remember in prayers, those who have fallen to this pandemic. May Allah forgive them and admit them into Aljannah Fidaus. May He also give their family and loved ones, the fortitude to bear the loss.
