The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
A five-member panel of the court, in a unanimous judgment, dismissed the appeal by Oladipupo Adebutu, who was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship election in Ogun State.
The appellants, Oladipupo Adebutu and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), prayed the apex court to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to conduct fresh elections in the 99 polling units were elections were allegedly cancelled.
