The Phenomenal Joe-Kyari Gadzama, OFR, MFR, SAN Pays Courtesy Visit To Former President of NBA, T.J. Okpoko, OON, SAN, FCiArb
Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, (1998-2000) and foremost Bar Leader, Chief Thompson Okpoko, SAN hosted Learned Silk, Joe-Kyari Gadzama alongside other bar leaders in his Warri Office on Saturday, 11th December, 2021.
The courtesy visit which was a spin-off from the NBA-Warri Brach Dinner slated for the same 11th December, 2021 created an avenue for peaceful deliberations and contribution of ideas on how to raise the standards of the Nigerian Bar, its tenets and most importantly, the welfare of Young Lawyers.
Following the courtesy visit, was the NBA-Warri Branch Dinner which saw the attendance of veteran Bar Leaders, Eminent Silks and Young Lawyers. The Phenomenal Silk, Joe-Kyari Gadzama who was also the Special Guest of Honor, was in attendance to merry and dine with the Warri branch of the NBA.
Highlights of the occasion were opening remarks and acknowledgement of attendees, reading of goodwill messages, sit-out with Young Lawyers, cutting of the cake and launching of the NBA-Warri Branch bar directory which was done by Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN.
The event was a laudable success and left no doubt in the minds of attendees that the resolutions reached would reposition the Bar for greater achievements in the coming year.
