The Chief Justice of Osun State, Oyebola Ojo has sentenced the receptionist at the Hilton Hotel in Ile-Ife, Osun state, Adesola Adedeji to two years in prison.
Adedeji was convicted alongside the hotel’s owner, Rahman Adedoyin, and five other employees for their varying roles in the murder of Timothy Adegoke who had checked into the hotel while he was in Ile-Ife to take his postgraduate examination in November 2021.
While Adedoyin, Manager and checker of the hotel, Adeniyi Aderogba and Oyetunde Kazeem were found guilty of murder among other charges, Adesola was convicted of manufacturing evidence.
Recognizing Adedeji’s role in uncovering hidden links related to the crime, the judge sentenced her to two years in prison, commencing from the day of her arrest.
