Olumide Akpata is a man of impeccable character and courage. Given his outstanding leadership experience, he is no doubt by far the most qualified to lead the Bar at this time.
As a young lawyer, member of the Premier Branch and a former exco of the Young Lawyers National Governing Council, I have participated in Bar events and platforms organized and co-organized by Mr Akpata and I can attest to his thoughtful leadership.
Olumide Akpata seeks out new ideas and different perspectives in resolving issues and is always available to listen.
It is common knowledge that Olumide Akpata is approachable, engaged and genuinely committed to the welfare of all lawyers in general and young lawyers in particular.
The forthcoming elections present us with a golden opportunity to positively change the narratives of our dear Association and that is why I urge you to please join me in voting for Olumide Akpata to make the Bar work for all.
